It'd make a better book (seriously, it would make a great book). But the branch points seem few and far between, and once you've gone through it once, repeated plays can be finished in minutes if you skip past the repeated text.. I like the concept but the game is filled with bugs, one of which prevents me from finishing the story so can't recommend. Too bad.. A very fun game about resource management by a very respecable author. They story is engaging and the gameplay hits all the right notes. Thanks for this awesome experience, Ryan. I highly recommend giving this game a go!. Would be a nice game, but difficulty settings are not working. Sometimes you just like to have fun and start a game on "Relaxed" (lowest) difficulty, paying less attention to minmaxing... and then you lose!? But why? Did I want the game to be challenging? Or did I sign up to abuse Save/Load or to have multiple runs? Did I ever played the game before so I know there are bad decisions even if they seem logical? No for fracks sake!!!To the devs: please try harder next time to make easier difficulty. I know it is much harder than making a game hard, but its possible.. A short, but memorable visual novel adventure.Features a branching story, with choice-and-consquence as the central gameplay mechanic.The (very basic) base-building and resource management does add welcome variety.The story has multiple endings and features some difficult moral choices and their consquences.
